Julanne’s journey into dance began with Irish dancing at the age of 3, going on to compete internationally – in the World Championships of Irish Dancing from the ages of 10 to 25 before running her own Irish Dancing School.
After discovering pole 9 years ago, her pole addiction has become her lifestyle, her career and now absorbs almost all of her time!
Julanne is a freelance pole dance, floor work and freestyle instructor – known for many proprietary teaching systems including Heels Heaven, Exotic Flow, Transitions for Pole, BaseWorx – as well as being a Master Trainer for Liquid Motion®, Finding Your Freestyle® and Finding Your Floorwork®.
With a BA(Hons) Degree in Art and Textile Design, when not in the pole studio Julanne can be found in the art studio drawing, painting and combining other media – in her ‘Movement Art’ series – as well as designing her dance/lifestyle clothing range JulanneJulanne®.
Julanne began judging Pole competitions in Washington DC in 2013 (while living in NYC) and has since been regularly judging nationally and Internationally. UKPPC is a favourite event in Julanne’s calendar and as always she is excited to see everyone’s creativity, passion and attention to detail.
Kate Edwards is the owner and director of Spin City Aerial Fitness and Spin City Instructor Training. A fully qualified fitness instructor, group exercise instructor and personal trainer for over 10 years, Kate specialises in the fitness aspect of aerial training and holds over 30 fitness qualifications.
Kate’s achievements within the pole community include: World Pole Sports and Fitness Doubles Pole Runner Up (2011) alongside Bendy Kate, 2011 British Universities Instructor Champion, founding member of the Equity Pole Dancers Working Party and the Pole Safe Train Safe Campaign. Kate is a level 5 PDC Instructor, a Level 3 REPs accredited trainer and has coached both Bendy Kate and Daniel Rosen to compete nationally and internationally.
Kate now uses her extensive fitness background to help educate instructors worldwide. Kate has written ten certified aerial fitness courses which are accredited internationally with ACE, AFAA, NASM, REPs, SkillsActive and the PDC. Alongside her training courses, Kate also writes and produces the ‘Pole Bible’ and the ‘Aerial Hoop Bible’ two of the leading education resources available for aerial dancers worldwide. The bibles series was extended in 2016 with the addition of the ‘Doubles Pole Bible’ and the ‘Doubles Hoop Bible’ with the ‘Aerial Sling Bible’ due in 2017.
Crystal is a mother, wife, a pole instructor from Los Angeles, CA, who has recently moved to the Midlands of the UK! Most known for teaching at The Choreography House & Cleo’s Rock-N-Pole. Crystal has taught pole artistry workshops worldwide, and in countless online videos with Cleo’s Rock-N-Pole as an online instructor.
Since 2010 Crystal has been a Principal Dancer in the very popular Girl Next Door: A Pole Dance Soiree & SEVEN, a Kelly Yvonne Production.
Recently Crystal has made it into “The Academy of Villains: as a pole dance performer under the wings of the world famous “Pharside and Phoenix” (from SYTYCD).
Crystal says her biggest pole accomplishments have been in a group setting, while performing for Leigh Ann Reilly’s ‘Pole Show LA” in both L.A. and Las Vegas.
Crystal was pre-selected into the Pro Division at the California Pole Dance Championships in 2013-2015 always ranking Top 5 and taking home the Miss Congeniality award in 2013. She placed 2nd in the 2013 Pacific Pole Championships.
In May 2015 Crystal was nominated for The Representing Award by Pole World News as The Pole and Aerial Community’s Most Positive Role Model.
Crystal got her start in the administration side of the pole world as the founder of Poles on Tour, and International Pole Touring Company which lead to her wanting to know more about the industry.
Crystal signed up for an intensive training course with the IPSF and became a certified judge for the International Pole Sports Federation and has sat on the panel of some of the most high profile pole competitions in the world, including the International Pole Championships (IPC), Pole Theatre UK, All-Stars Australia, Paragon USA, Pacific Pole Championship, IPAAT and Capital of Texas Aerial Championships (CoTAC). Deb is a pioneer of the UK pole dance scene, whose list of firsts is as long as it is impressive and which includes designing and creating the first safety mat for pole dancers, and creating the first pole dance troupe to perform live on primetime TV.
Starting her pole career as a showgirl, Deb’s signature style focuses on ‘heels and sex’, and as a competitor she won numerous titles including ‘Most entertaining’ three years running at Miss Pole Dance UK, as well as Best Tricks in 2009. She received a ‘World Contribution to Pole Dance Award’ at miss pole dance worlds in Jamaica 2009.
Deb is an experienced judge, including judging at the World Pole Dance Championships three times. And since retiring from competition, has focussed on coaching future champions, setting up the British Pole Dance Academy. It is now one of the largest pole studios in the UK, with her students affectionately referred to as ‘Riley’s pole sluts’. Her highly regarded workshops have toured extensively and she’s taught her signature style and tricks to hundreds of instructors and studio owners, and thousands of students over the years.
Daniel Rosen is the very proud owner of IFA Pole and Aerial in Hemel Hempstead and has been turning himself upside down and spinning round a pole since 2008.
As the current holder of one international and 12 UK championship titles, Dan is a veritable fountain of pole-related knowledge. There’s nothing he doesn’t know about spins, tricks and getting flexible. Dan takes safety in pole very seriously and is always trying to improve his knowledge to make his classes the safest they can be.
Dan also travels extensively, teaching workshops right across the UK. He is very well known for his friendly, easy-to-understand teaching techniques and is famous within the pole industry for his signature tricks masterclass.
Dan has no previous gymnastics, ballet or any kind of dance training and is living proof that you don’t have to be a gymnast to be a good pole dancer.

Background: Hanka has been a competitive gymnast for over 14 years.
Since 2006 she has applied all of her experience in gymnastics into the field of Pole Dancing. Since 2007, she has taught master classes and workshops all over the world including the USA, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, Poland, and Sweden, UK, Brazil and Chili. Currently, Hanka teaches workshops/privates for her own company ‘Studio Ad Astra’ and groupclasses held at the University Sport Centre in Nijmegen. Her group of students consist of all levels from beginners to elite athletes.
Hanka has been successful in competitions for years. She won both the Benelux and European Championships 3 times, competed in several worlds finals (and earned the title for “Best Poletricks” in 2011). She placed 2nd in the Pole WorldCup 2014 and most recently she won Dutch International PoleArt and 1st runner up during the Pole Expo Pole Classic in Las Vegas.

Jo Dandridge has been in the pole industry for over 11 years. She has been a fitness instructor for the last 17 and has also studied an array of dance styles including Ballet, Modern, Freestyle, Latin and Ballroom. After discovering pole Jo found that she could infuse her knowledge of dance and fitness to encompass a style she loved and was passionate about.
Jo can mostly be found teaching pole and dance at her studio the ‘The Fitness Hangout’, a successful Pole and Aerial studio in Surrey. Her passion lies in making sure students follow correct sequences of learning in a fun yet safe environment, teaching them not to rush into more advanced tricks but to focus on fluidity of movement and good execution.
Jo is also an XPERT Pole Fitness Master Trainer helping to work on standards within the industry, alongside travelling internationally to certify instructors and run Pole Flow workshops throughout the UK. Jo is an original founder of the Pole Safe Federation and is Head of Studio / Instructors on the federation board.
Jo presents Pole Fitness at many Fitness Conventions, including The International Fitness Convention, Fitcamps and Fibo, and is also a well renowned International Judge, having judged many competitions including UKAPP, Kent Pole Championships, UKPPC and Airstars – Asia. As a judge in many competitions she looks for a well-rounded routines that flow, using spins, transitions and floorwork, and not just a routine full of tricks. It’s the bits in-between that make all the difference.
Sam Remmer started pole dancing in 2001 and went onto compete nationally in 2006 gaining places in the finals of several national competitions.
In 2009 Sam retired from competing to commence judging for many competitions both national and international.
Sam runs a pole dance school, The Art of Dance, in Plymouth, Devon. She is also the joint founder of Pole Dance Community, she currently works as an administrator for the PDC as well as teaching at her Plymouth studio.
Stacey has been in the industry since 2004 – she has worked for XPOLE International for over 10 years and is now the international sales manager for XPERT Pole & Aerial Teacher Training, the worlds largest Pole & Aerial Teacher Training programme.
Stacey is the organiser and co-owner of Pole Theatre UK and Dance Filthy UK, and the owner of Herts Dance & Fitness in Welwyn Garden City.
She is a qualified fitness instructor and is a certified Pole & Aerial instructor including aerial yoga, aerial hoop to name a few.
Stacey has judged many competitions over the years and is a regular on the competition judging scene.
This year Stacey won the International fitness Showcase Health and Fitness Manager of the year.
When Stacey is not working she is spending time with her husband and 2 children.
